Generation gap, is one of the most ominous black holes, sucking, within our lives nowadays.
Is it not steamed on by the divergence of pathways in thinking amongst the old and the new? This is not mere misunderstandings being dealt with, however, it is more the adamant stand of the wiser that suppresses any kind of progress or breakthrough that befits benefit to both sides.
It is truly frustrating, when, and often so too, an adult demands that what new thing you are doing is "utterly wrong" and thus there should be "no further occurrence of this sport". They abuse their years for superior knowledge. Can not they see the way we think, or is it us that has evolved too much?
Maybe I will never know, for when people think from different point of views, the worlds they occupy are different.
But still, people wish that those close to them will understand. If not, then at the least tries to put on some fake pretense that they understand perfectly. Of course one can choose to be left alone, but one can not sincerely wish to live in this world alone. I do not think that could be done without sadness, and a sense of bereft undulating as an undercurrent.
The world is such a mess, why let time get in our way? What is generation gap compared to the heavy shrapnels and radiation conversed by those deluded with their beliefs? Evolution is imminent, I do not know when the adults will start accepting this, and even in some cases, help pull us out of this "deeply negative side"--the unofficial definition of teenage-phrase legion in their midst, non courtesy to high technological media assistance.
How would they know if we are actually the reform of humankind and not the opposite of social validity? They are rejecting us, but why, none could put their finger on it. Arrogance and insecurity, these are the core of this ridiculous noun, this "generation gap" which seems so dark.
What, I wonder, is becoming of us higher-intelligence-beings, to proclaim that the new are so different from the old; the new, which undoubtedly came from the old. Why are the adults cutting us away?

How are they so sure everyone is on the right path and guided by this unsee-able light of theirs?
Deprivation makes way to desire, desires augmented and blown out of proportion will make way to hollowness.
